WHY HAVE A MARINE SURVEY PERFORMED? WHAT I DO ON A MARINE SURVEY... WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A MARINE SURVEYOR COST OF A MARINE SURVEY--Upfront pricing... we don't keep it a secret! Pre-purchase survey includes sea-trial*, one round trip travel, digital photography, in the water inspection, out of water inspection, osmosis hull study, electronic fuel sniffing to detect fuel tank leaks, data base research of the boat history/recalls, Fair Market Value/Replacement Value and a comprehensive Survey Report in a pdf file email.** Insurance surveys include the same except sea trial. Appraisals @ $10/ft. Catamarans add $2/ft.
Please call for price on larger vessels. We do up to about 100-ft vessels. Engine/transmission oil analysis @ $60 per sample. Compression test @ $20/cylinder inboards, $15/cylinder outboards Corrosion Survey @ $250 by itself or $125 if done as part of a general survey Hourly @ $90 per hour travel and labor. Consulting available at same rate. PRICES ARE ESTIMATES AND SOMETIMES NEED ADJUSTING FOR LOCATION, AGE, AND CONDITION OF BOAT SO PLEASE CALL WITH DETAILS TO VERIFY EXACT PRICE.
