WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A MARINE SURVEYOR COST OF A MARINE SURVEY Pre-purchase surveys include ONE round trip travel, digital photography, sea-trial, in the water inspection, out of the water inspection, and a bound survey report in color guaranteed to be accepted by your financial institution and insurance underwriter, plus an email attachment of the report. Insurance surveys include the same except sea trial. Please check with your insurance carrier to see what portions of a survey are required. (Minimum charge 25-feet)
*Please call for price on larger vessels. *Engine/transmission oil analysis @ $60 per sample. *Compression test @ $20/cylinder. *Consultations @ $80 per hour. *Additional reports are mailed @ $25 each including printing, binding, embossed seal, mailing and handling. VISA & MASTERCARD ACCEPTED If you're from out of town, I can look at vessels you want me to check and email you with close up digital photography and discuss the vessels condition before you make your offer.
